Garmouth and Kingston Golf Course boasts 18 holes with two very distinct nines to challenge any golfer. The front nine is parkland whereas the back nine is links with stunning views of the Moray region.
The Course runs along the west bank, near to the mouth of the River Spey – it is common to be able to watch osprey fish as well a wide variety of other local wildlife.
The club was founded in 1932 and has matured and flourished into a course that lends itself to players of all abilities whilst enjoying stunning scenery, surrounded by sea, river, hills and wildlife.
As the course lies next to the Spey it is very easy to negotiate for anyone with limited mobility. There are no steep inclines to navigate, and buggies are available for anyone requiring any further assistance.
Visitors are extremely welcome to play the course and full details for securing and paying for a tee time can be found on the Visitors page.
The Clubhouse offers a warm welcome with a wide range of refreshments from tea and coffee to draught beers, snacks and of course a wide selection of local Malts.
Junior members are very important to the club, and we work closely with the local Schools activity programmes and local groups such as Scouting. We are very keen to offer golf experiences and encourage local youngsters from a young age to embrace the game.
Neil Smith is our club captain and has been a member of Garmouth and Kingston Golf Club for many years and is delighted to be guiding the club for 2024/25.
John Urquhart is our head greenkeeper and brings with him extensive experience and a clear vision for the maintenance and subsequent development of the course.
Jill Walker is our bar manager and looks after both members and visitors for the after golf enjoyment. Jill and her team are extremely friendly and committed to making sure everyone’s experience of the club is as enjoyable as possible. As well as ensuring our golfers can enjoy our hospitality we are also an important part of the local community too – our social membership is equally well catered for.
